Installed bed cubbies for passenger and driver side. Bought them off the web from FairwayFordParts. Cool storage addition for soft stuff (tarp, para cord, zip ties, jumper cables, ratchet straps, chem lights/glow sticks, just regular preparedness stuff, etc...).

Part number is the same for both sides:

NZ6Z-60286A72-A

Funny how the cubbies arrive missing screws. Screws you will need are M6-1.00x20, plus washers. You re-use the ones from the covers, but need two more per cubby (4 total additional screws, if installing both cubbies). I need 4 bigger washers, but made it work for now.

And yep, bedliner is missing from the bottom after swapping from the original standard covers, like everyone else I've seen. No problem for me though.

Builtright Industries bed MOLLE panels installed. Compatible with Billie Bars, X15 tonneau (X15 requires modification to be used in conjuction with Billie Bars), and bed cubbies. No interference.

Example for use of the MOLLE panels would be to mount fire extinguisher and a hand tool (shovel, axe, hoe) etc... with Quick Fist MOLLE mounts.

Excellent job locating the cans on opposing sides to cut down on clutter.

JB4 running normal on 3 different maps. Terry Burger has been super communicative with confirming acceptable operation of the unit. Very responsive to emails.

Installed 5 lb fire extinguisher to BuiltRight MOLLE panel in the bed with BuiltRight mount and Quick Fist grabber. Seems rock steady.

Working on securing a full-size spare Baja Boss to a basket over the Billie Bars with a Yakima tire mount.

Need to clean up some wires in the engine bay.

Also mounted a 3 gallon fuel container to the Billie Bars MOLLE panel.

Enjoying the truck and enjoying the club! Truck is coming along...

Hey guys, just posting a photo of my Maverick. Enjoying it so far. Awesome truck. Long post. Feel free to just look at the pictures if you want. I don't post much and wanted to inject some positivity into the forum that I feel has been missing for a bit. Hoping to inspire others to share their builds...

2.0 Ecoboost AWD with Steeda Blowoff Adapter and Buschur Intake. I have the MRT performance Sport Truck exhaust (no muffler). Sounds clean and mean. Still looking into intercooler, downpipe, and tuning options. Truck already feels quick. Crazy that some guys are getting them to run as quick as the Trans Am WS6 I wanted back in the day. So much practicality in this rig as well!

Running Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires in the 245/65/17 with stock wheels. No suspension upgrades yet. Tires really changed up the look of the truck. Looking into the H&R spring lift and the Belltech spacer lift.

Got the windows tinted and added the AVS visors, which also completely changed the truck's appearance. The X15 tonneau cover blends into the rear window and smooths things out as well. I bought the X15 and AVS stuff from RealTruck.com with our club discount.

Protecting my hood's leading edge from rock chips is the Lund Aeroskin smoke colored hood protector.

I plan to add Rigid brand 3" pod foglights (4) after cutting out the front blank spaces in the fascia. Would like to add a Yakima roof rack, Yakima roof basket, and 2 KC lights to the rack with the Yakima rack light adapters, but due to cost might have to skip that. It might end up being worth it to get that rally/baja look I'm going after. Looking into tasteful graphics as well to complete the exterior appearance. I love my stock wheels, but if my truck was a different color I'd get something else.

I installed a dash protector, neoprene seat covers, and floor mats to stay squared away inside. Also got door protectors for the back seat, so my dogs don't scratch things up.

Bought a center console organizer kit from Amazon for cheap too, but haven't installed. Still need the bed organizer cubbies from Ford and a swing case. Lots of great storage and organization potential for this truck!

Looking into options for utilization of the bed's electrical system as well. Maybe lights or a compressor. I bought a leather wrap kit for the steering wheel. Not looking forward to sewing that up, but it should look tight!

I love the truck. If Subaru re-released the Baja or Brat, that would have been my choice, but the Mav is the most fun option out right now for anyone wanting to build something like that! Almost went for the WRX, but the Maverick has a bed! This truck kicks ass and I expect other manufacturers will follow with similar offerings within the next 5 years!

That's all from me for now.

Dude im going for the same set upminus the KC lights. But yeah I can see what you mean I have a WRX and need the bed. It has a 2.0 turbo (its not the boxer engine) but still> Im pushing 300in my WRX tuned and modded so maybe I cam get the same with the Mav. Well done sir.

Did my second oil change today. First oil change was with Castrol Synthetic and Motor Craft filter. This change was done with Royal Purple Synthetic and Motor Craft filter.

This is the first oil change since the catch cans were installed. Both cans caught more crud than I was expecting. I would recommend a similar setup for anyone else with one of these trucks, if you want to keep it running for a long time.

Observation this time was an odor of fuel in the oil. Also noticed sludge on the underside of the oil fill cap.

I plan to keep short intervals for oil changes with this truck. Probably going to stick with 3,500 mile intervals. I have a short commute, and that's hard on motors; More incentive to ride the bicycle. The truck did go on a 3,000 mile road trip just prior to this oil change.

I have a lot more that I'd like to do to the truck, but figured I'd mix up my build thread with a maintenance update.

FYI the truck was showing 42% oil life at this oil change, and mileage on the truck is 7,447.

Catch cans were installed between last oil change and this oil change (before road trip). I will be dumping them every 1,500 miles and every oil change.

Sludge like that under the cap is usually a sign of taking short trips where the engine doesn't heat up enough, so the condensation in the engine never boils off.
That's right. Will likely be putting more miles on the bicycle!
