Waiting on delivery mid-July and browsing Ford Accessories, I noticed they're listing the Lund Aeroskin Textured Hood Protector again, this time under part number VPZ6Z16C900A and without the bump in the middle like the old one. Can anyone confirm availability and that it's the textured and not part substituted to the glossy smoke VNZ6Z16C900A?

Old textured part number was VNZ6Z16C900C.

I had the glossy one and subbed for the textured. My textured one didn’t have that big lip like the picture shows, but it covered more of the hood, and it matches with the rest of the texture of the grille, so IMO, the textured is much nicer

I think they discontinued the one with the bump because it was causing hoods to rattle at speeds.
Sorry, I have no info on part numbers, but I do have a textured hood protector without the bump, and it’s great. I’ll try to get some photos up.

Thanks for the feedback, finally got the truck on Thursday (post here) Delivered after 9 months - Carbonized Grey XLT Hybrid with BAP.

FordPass points came in on Sunday, I went ahead and ordered the new textured one this afternoon. Should look nice matching the factory trim to round out the BAP.

It should, yes. I'm not sure if it's a flat rate or based on term level / options / total cost, but I received 42,000 for buying an XLT with a Black Appearance and Luxury package. You may need to create an account on Ford's website and / or add your Maverick to the account once you have a VIN.
