Is it possible to get texts on Sync 3 or Auto Android in a 2025 Maverick Lariat? I got texts and suggested replies on the screen of my 2022 Maverick Lariat. But I haven't been able to enable texts on my new one. Thoughts?

It should be possible. Sync 4 uses either bluetooth or a wired connection from your phone to display texts and other information on the screen.

How are you connecting to the infotainment? Is message notifications enabled on your phone?

I'm connecting the phone with Bluetooth. It has both Sync 4 or Android Auto. I'm getting phone calls, but not texts.

Maybe you have a do not disturb while driving sitting enabled on your phone? That would stop texts from going through.

Nope. It's getting texts, but it's not showing up on the truck screen.

Don't think any vehicle should be showing you texts for you to read on your screen. On my 24 with Sync 3 it will read them to me, but not show them. If multiples come in, it will give me a list, but again it will only read them to me.

I'm getting the texts as either read or play. It probably depends on whether I'm moving. I've been fiddling with Android Auto and not sure it's a better GPS solution. Not having much luck with installing apps from my phone, but it hasn't been a priority. The Bluetooth connection from the phone plays the content without the app.

Check your Android Auto settings on the truck's screen once connected. Make sure the toggle for texts is turned on.

This is the answer. Messaging must be Enabled in the Android Auto App. I personally have texts disabled in AA cuz I don't want texts while driving. Your choice. Good luck.
