Its called OTG - On The Ground
Highly movable - it can go where no roof-top tent would dare!
packs up very small for its size in about 5 mins - weighs less than 17 lbs
low profile for wind
60 sq ft of floor area, 60" peak height
no weight limit
and can be yours for $300 at REI
Bonus - ZERO MPG hit!!!
We saw many, many "overlanders" setup in a developed campground that our Prius would have made it to at 60 mpg. With our OTG setup, the Mav got 38+ mpg for the trip. Sea level, to Death Valley, to 6k feet, back to sea level.
With gas at $5/gal, the OTG tent will pay for itself in no time! Hit a low of 35 that night - seems better to be on the ground, out of the breeze and insulated than on top of a truckbed or roof.
Negative: less cool photos
