2019 loaded, and 2022 Loaded. I was very underwhelmed. Didn't have an issuse with power or gear hunting, but definitely true about the seat being a bit unsupportive and the steering wheel doesnt telescope out too far. Back seat seems less roomy than our Maverick and perhaps the whole interior wasn't any bigger either. The kicker was the terrible gas mileage. My search continues.

great question. Not sure. Was thinking an older F150 for my lumber and Recycles, then a commute car. I live close to work. About 10 miles. Thought maybe a Tacoma was worth checking out. I think the "taco" crowd is a bit overhyped about their outdated trucks.

I love Toyota trucks but used Tacoma pricing is a meme at this point.
I wish I'd never sold my old '86 4x4 but then again, if I still had that clunker for home depot and dump runs I probably wouldn't have bought the Maverick.

Been there... done that.

The entire time I just kicked myself for not getting a full size truck that quite frankly, just does everything better and nicer as well as gets the same MPG (Or better). If it wasn't for the Maverick coming out, I'd be in a full size truck right now. Nothing else even comes close and IMHO, the Maverick is what a "mid sized" truck should be.

If you are looking for something more than the Maverick, just skip current mid sized trucks all together and compromise on features for a better overall truck with a full size.

Unless you care about off roading a bunch I don’t see why you would get one

Yes, you're right and now I know I would not get one. What I have learned is that the Maverick doesn't really have any competition. Getting rid of it means I will be making a lot of sacrifices despite the ridiculous amount of recalls and incompetent Ford dealerships.
