Tailgate Lettering Choices - opinions?

Yeah I got the same ones on my Area 51 Maverick. They are Tufskinz and you can get them on thier site (I did) instead of the dealer. A little pricey but better quality than the cheap flat vinyl ones and a lot easier to install. They are like a plastic-rubbery material that is slightly domed.

I think the black ones would look good with the Terrain paint. matches the bumper and other black exterior bits.

A two year bump on this thread. Got some "basic" vinyl gloss white letters to match the Ford oval trim. Ebay specials (less than $20) and they were a "b i t c h" to apply, but once they were finally set, turned out real nice.

for my ebay budget letters, I used soapy water mixed per 3M recommendations and it gave me just enough time to position the letters before the drying/curing took place. it was a little stressful but it wasn't terrible because instead of just sticking instantly, i had about 10-20 seconds to slide the letter decal where i wanted it to be. ymmv

Desert Camo would look good on Terrain. Someone on Etsy had the gloss domed desert camo for sale.

Good point and thanks for the tip. Yeah one hour of labor and lots of "unsticking" not to mention small air bubbles to remove, was not pleasant. I'll be doing my son's Orange Maverick soon and will try this trick and see how it goes. Thanks!
