Tail light bar installation - splice va using 4 prong

[2024 Mav. Xlt. Hybrid. NO tow package]

No issues with the physical install yet when I attempt to connect to the existing 4 prong- the light bar acts as a parallel current path- and makes the Mav think the rear lights and blinkers are broken.

Anyone have advice? where to splice in?

you can't really just splice -- on the maverick the turn signals and brakes are combined, you need something to separate them -- tailgate led bars don't seem to be too popular on here, so you may have to just throw parts at it until you find one that works.
