Hey all,

Running Sync 3.4 Build 23188 and have noticed since I bought the truck that it will occasionally do slight stutter or skipping effect at random for half a second when playing music through USB.

I’ve tried a master reset, all wires are secured, different cables, and different phones. All to the same effect. Ford dealer tells me it’s a software bug with no fix currently (Which probably means never at this point).

Have any of you run into this issue? Is there any weird way for me to downgrade the software or a setting you found that causes the issue?

I have not run into that issue on my 24, mine is a XLT though with luxury package. I use both a USB-A micro thumb drive, as well as my Android phone to listen to music. I have had the problem randomly where I'll get out of the truck listening to my USB drive and when I restart the truck minutes later, it'll play music from AM radio.

Yes All the time on my 23 Lariat Tremor, I've got used to it, it's not worse than a skipping CD.

I've got the stock Connected Touch Radio in my '24 XLT and it too will skip occasionally through Bluetooth or connected to the USB. Not to mention the other issues it has. Ford's infotainment software/hardware sucks hard. The rest of the truck is great though
