I got a phone call from my dealer today to let me know that he was monitoring my order and just got a notice from Ford that it is going into production next week. Now I had already received an email from Ford with a build week of 11/28 so I was aware (but honestly expecting to get pushed back) that my order had scheduled. But I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from the dealer to update me. He also mentioned he had a note that I wanted a bed liner when the truck came in and wanted to know if that was still true.

I should also mention that this was not my original salesman who has "moved on" but someone I have not yet met.

Just wanted to post this as usually all we hear are bad dealer news stories and I wanted to give Bellingham Ford / Lincoln in Bellingham Washington a big thumbs up for customer service.

I've had two dealers "move on" since I ordered in October 21. I now deal directly with the sales manager (his request, not mine) as he has two other orders like mine (had MY22 VIN), and he is tracking them personally.

So far everything with the transition is going well. Hoping to get a build week and VIN next week after the final conversion is done. Fingers crossed!

Congrats. I need more details on your order. MY22 or roll over, new MY23 order? EB or Hybrid? Please give me some hope that my MY23 XLT HPR Hybrid with a trailer hitch will be built. I know, even if it does happen it will not be anytime soon.

I got the email last month letting me know that my XL was put in the schedule for the week of 11/28 as well. I also fully expected it to get pushed back a few times. Since this is my second Maverick, I'm not nearly as invested in keeping track of it as I was the first time through. Once you've been through this once, the second time is a lot less stressful. Just last night I thought about it and decided to do a check up and was surprised to see mine has move to "in production" and I have a window sticker.

Honestly, I am very surprised that this one is going so well after waiting 13 months for the first one! Still, it's Ford so I won't believe it until I get the call from my dealer saying it's here. It's the old 'fool me once......' way of life when dealing with a Ford order.

New 2023 order, not a roll over of any kind
Hybrid Lariat Lux with CP360 assist

I think what happened is that I was the first Maverick order submitted from my dealer. They do have a number of 2022 orders with canceled VIN's but because of the delay in canceling the 22 VIN's and getting those orders reviewed and back into the queue I got scheduled ahead of them.

There was one other new 2023 order that got scheduled, I was shown the list at the dealer and I think there were 6 MY22's still there, then mine and one other 2023 that was scheduled and then a bunch of new 2023's not scheduled.

Now that the canceled 2022's are getting moved to priority 02 I fully expect my unit to get pushed back. I have not heard anything else from Ford and I should have gotten an "in production" email which has not happened. I do have a window sticker though so that at least was exciting.

Awesome news and good for you but sad for the unscheduled 2022 roll overs. This gives me hope that by some illogical reasoning my MY23 Hybrid has a chance of being built.
