Suprised by Ford today! My Maverick is built and ready for shipment

Received email today that truck has been built. Ford's current estimate for delivery to the local Dealership is between October 23rd-29th. The Build date was 9/21. That's approximately 4-5 weeks for shipping and delivery.

Got my Ford email 9/23 saying my XLT was built.
Ordered on 7/8, was scheduled to be built week of 9/20. Estimated delivery week of 10/22.
Way to go Ford!!

Just recieved an email from Ford (7:27 est) stating that my Maverick is built and ready for shipment. This was a complete and pleasant suprise as I had not recieved word that my build had been scheduled. Any one else with good news?

I ordered 7/15/21. Scheduled build date 9/23/21. Notified by email on Sat the 25 that mine was built ETA to my dealer in Virginia is late October.

Which dealer did you order through in VA? I'm finally ready to place my order and looking for an honest dealer in the NOVA area that wont jack up the price of my Maverick once they finally get it.

I ordered mine from Marlow Ford in Luray. They told me that several people from Northern VA have ordered from them to avoid the "jacked up" deals offered to them by other dealers.

I've been getting down on the delays and lack of straight communication Ford. Mine is Hybrid Lariat Luxury Carbonized Gray (until I change the color again! LOL)
But I didn't order until 9/7.

What is glass coating? Tint?? What is your license plate going to say? It's beautiful. I saw one this color at the dealer and fell in love. Hubby didn't. Still working on him. After all, it's my truck!
