Mine went through Chicago to get to me.anyone have experience with one being shipped on rail to the Chicago land area ?
it is exactly this ^^^“In production” just means it was sent to the factory, for them to schedule in. Which means pick a blend number (i.e. your place in the assembly line). “In production” doesn’t mean it is going down the line yet. It’s just as much detail as CS knows, until Built.
Mine went into production, but before it went down the line they did an unplanned shutdown for a week. Which pushed the build out a week.
Basically, we are next in line for the factory, then some part thing happens. Usually, means a supplier didn’t deliver as they promised. Which results in pushing some or all builds out, depending on the part. How long depends on when the supplier will do their delivery.
I am now in production again. This could be since even thought it went back to order confirmed first, but i’m still pushed to 8/22 so it just flipped right back to in production. A mess is what it is lol.Yeah I’ve had a window sticker since July 6 and then it’s rebilled the sticker 2-3 times so it’s been fun
Ordered 7/26/21 Lariat Hybrid, RR, First Edition, Lux Pkg, CoPilot 360 - Yes, my first production date was 6/6/22 & since then I've had 14 pushbacks. Now finally I think it actually is in Production as Ford CS has given me an ETA of 9-2 to 9-8. Still hasn't been shipped though, so until it does, I have a feeling that it won't make the projected eta. I'm hopeful however.ok so here is what happened. my maverick showed in production last week and the CS person said it was going down the line. this morning it got reverted back to order confirmed. WTF ford this is the 4th time it was pushed back. they need to get there Sh*t together dude. don't tell me its going down the line and then say JK its back to order processing. Anyone else this happen to ? Did this get pulled off the line ?
Happened to me also.ok so here is what happened. my maverick showed in production last week and the CS person said it was going down the line. this morning it got reverted back to order confirmed. Happened to me too, was in production since Thursday of last week and then just yesterday went from in production in the morning to order confirmed in the afternoon…chatted with ford customer service and was told it was still showing my maverick as being scheduled for this week and also that my delivery ETA was 9/3…as of this evening though I checked to see if any modules had populated in my build and still nothing, have had access to my window sticker since last week thoughok so here is what happened. my maverick showed in production last week and the CS person said it was going down the line. this morning it got reverted back to order confirmed. Just think, if they had their shit together and everything moved smoothly through the system with just forward motion we'd all hav our Mavericks by now. Yeah, yeah, chip shortages and all that- there was a time when American businesses were more self reliant and not so dependent on sources they have no control over.ok so here is what happened. my maverick showed in production last week and the CS person said it was going down the line. this morning it got reverted back to order confirmed. Perfection is elusive. This looked great when they taught it in college.it is exactly this ^^^
Large manufacturers do not want to store inventory, so they rely on suppliers to deliver by an exact date- and they plan production based on the date promised by suppliers. If parts don't arrive as promised it blows up production scheduling- and they have to reshuffle everything and try again with what they CAN build ATM. When missing parts do arrive, they adjust production schedule again to accommodate.
Well, the CHIPS act may help that, hopefully.Just think, if they had their shit together and everything moved smoothly through the system with just forward motion we'd all hav our Mavericks by now. Yeah, yeah, chip shortages and all that- there was a time when American businesses were more self reliant and not so dependent on sources they have no control over.
I've had similar experiences. I think that the only thing you can really rely on is when your mods pop. Very same thing happened to me in June. My mods popped yesterday. So, a little more than 2 months from first production notice to build. Good luck.ok so here is what happened. my maverick showed in production last week and the CS person said it was going down the line. this morning it got reverted back to order confirmed.
