Haven't been able to sit in one with a sunroof - for those on the taller end of the spectrum, is the sunroof a wise choice or does it take away head clearance and make it too cramp for the driver?

Any input appreciated!

It sure doesn't look to me like it changes the clearance any. I am a hair over 6ft or at least I used to be, lol, and I personally love having a sunroof as I feel less constrained. Had one in my F150, rarely used it (Washington-always raining) but still liked having it. I only wish the Mav had a tilt version as sometimes you just want that breeze but I think its all open or all closed.

It does tilt
Very little difference with sunroof, don't see it as being an issue for you

The official specs are that it reduces headroom by 2.3".

I’m 6’-6” and I sat in one with a sunroof, my head was against the ceiling. So depending on how reclined you like to sit, I’d say no. I did for mine.

Thanks for the input - I've never really used sunroofs when i had them and if i can save $1K and be a bit more comfortable / not feel constrained maybe i'll skip it this time around. I hadn't seen that technical spec sheet which does in fact suggest 2.3" is lost for a sunroof - seems pretty conclusive that it at least has an impact. Only way to know will be to sit in one if i can find it, but will likely order without.

still ample room, I am 6' and wasn't even close at relatively normal "lean" on the seat. I didn't measure but there seemed to be plenty of headroom
