Storage solution for snow brush/showel

This is my first truck and I am coming from a sedan. How do you guys store your snow brushes? Currently I leave them in my back seat but when I have passengers in back, I take them out. I don't like the idea of throwing them in the bed.

I was thinking of DIY solution to remove those screws on Truck bed door(highlighted in red the pic) and screw in the heavy duty cinch strap(highlighted in yellow). This way, I can tie the brushes to truck door and when not using the brushes, I can leave them or use for other purposes. I liked the idea of using the cinch strap because they do not obstruct I have to use the truck bed with door open to haul stuff (possibly).

Can I remove the screws, without breaking anything? What sort of screw driver head would I need for this?

I imagine those screws are for the tailgate latch. I wouldn’t remove them myself. Also, what is a snow brush. Do you have a pic?

I just toss mine in the back seat. But I suppose that you could drill some holes for your cinch strap into one of the bed cubby panels?

They're not for the tailgate latch. It's just to hold that panel down. If you remove the screws then that panel just comes off and there's two large holes to get to the inside of the tailgate.

You might be able to get away with removing those screws as it has four more, two on the far ends. The only thing is that panel possibly might bow upwards. (or not if you screw something else in)

This is perfect, my idea was to remove the screws, make a hole in the cinch strap and put the screw back with the strap

How about under the rear seat in that storage area. I haven't tried it yet but that is what I thought of doing.

Rear seat storage area is split and has a divider in center, so the length is not sufficient.

I'll have to check. I thought the center divider was a little lower but my snow brush is not as stout as yours living in the SW desert.

Disclaimer…what is snow? But really, you seem to be trying to shield your snow removal tools from the elements? I might be way off here, but they will likely be fine riding in the bed right?

I just plan on putting mine behind the rear seat if there's room. If not. Then on the floor in the back. I just pack a brush. No shovel.

Mission accomplished. It is not as snug as I was expecting, but I am happy. For future I am planning to get a molle panel, so I can multipurpose it.
