I have hauled roughly 40-50 times since April 2022 with this great truck. Today I got it to squat pretty good. Adding on to our shed and needed the framing . The longest and heaviest were the structural 4x4x16. Helps to have so many tie downs.
Put it in tow, haul mode and it did great. Even the Menards guy at the yard stated you got it squatting. 😂
Next week will be a trailer for the sheeting and fiber concrete boards.
Such a great Truck!

The thread was labeled "Squatting" I was wondering if I dare open it. As the word has many meanings. Glad it was about the truck and not some emegency along the road in the bushes.

That's called overloading.
That's 1300 lbs all well aft of the rear axel. So leverage works to put it well over the 1500 lbs bed payload of the Mav. A rack that would have sent some of that weight over the cab would have had the truck riding more level.

Personally I just hate the sensation of the front pitched up in the air like that... Did it too many times with my F350s when i was a younger man. I just don't have the confidence to overload a truck like that anymore.

Now that is what I call a "lowered" truck, and just to think, you did not have to do anything to the suspension, but expensive parts, etc. Way to go.

Did that with a F 150. The rear springs were making frowns. Wheels barely steered, and stopping....... Well it was called slowing.
