Speaker Replacement Suggestions 2024

Hi guys! New to the forum! I’m a year into driving my 2023 XLT, and am dissatisfied with the speaker situation. Hoping to get some recommendations on what speakers to buy for the door and dash without replacing the head unit or adding anything (yet). I impulse bought some Rockford Fosgate R165-S and have been lead to believe these won’t make much of a difference. Looking forward to your responses. TYIA!

I am a believer that there is no replacement for air displacement. Always found that even a crappy sub can make a world of difference for anemic door speakers.

Decent kit for the price and was pretty easy to wire up splicing into the rear channels. Made a world of difference with my XL. Is it audiophile quality, heck no, but it's impressive for what it is.

Sits nicely on the hump under the seat in the back, so nearly no loss of space. Has a remote adjustment knob that I placed up by the USB ports which is convenient for fine tuning.
