Just a heads-up to everyone. There are some "wierd" new fuses used on the Maverick that you can't find easily at the local auto parts stores because they are "too new" for them to stock. I had a bad USB charger blow the fuse for the media bin power point (aka cigarette lighter for us old timers). The fuse is a 20 amp Slotted M Case, which I have never seen before. They are not inexpensive fuses either! I did find this nice assortment of fuses on Amazon for a decent price here, Truck Upfitters, in case anyone is interested. It's always good to have an assortment of fuses on hand just in case.

Those Ford Engineers need a reason for their jobs, that is why they change fuses and light bulbs all the time.

Be careful in buying fuses as a lot of them are wrongly rated as seen in this video:

Automotive Fuses - Does the brand really matter?

Can you say FIRE: The last thing you want is to put in a 10 amp fuse that only blows at more than 50 amps.

Your welcome. If you look in the owners manual, there is a nice depiction of what types fuses are used. It's good to have a small stock on hand in case something stupid happens, like in my case. Since I'm not currently using the power point in the truck bed, I was able to swap that fuse for the time being.

Thank you! I do keep spare fuses and this will help!

There are some fuses marked spare already in the Maverick in case of an emergency. I blew one on the main underhand fuse block and found an unused spare to swap it out until I purchased spares of the differing types used on the Maverick.

I hate the box style with the window you can’t check them with them installed. Plus you always break the clear window trying to get them out.

You can't check them by looking at them, but you can check them with a multi-meter or a test light.
