X2 on Your questions. I have a 2025 and have Had the message Pop up on the Stereo screen wanting to do the update saying it could take 5 minutes or up to 3 Hours?

Aug/Sept 2025 software update on 2025 Maverick XLT 2.0

What did they update? Where can I read the information about the update?

Today, I drove my truck to the store. First time I cranked it up in a week. After I started the engine and sat to let it do its thing, the big screen said the update was successful and I pressed OK which let the message go away.
There was not an explanation about what was upgraded, just that it completed successfully.

I would like to read what was included in this update. I get a feeling that my lane keep assist was not working now. I turned it off then back on, it shows that it’s active on the dash display, but it didn’t try to keep me from drifting out of my lane, which it was doing well before the update. Coincidence? Too much worrying?
Looking for good answer or advice.

I have a 25 (lobo) and my lane keep assist has never worked. I set it up properly (I think) and was thinking the base does not include this feature? But it is supposed to…

I read that it only activates over 45 mph (which sucks) and I safely tested at that speed - nope, no alert! How am I expected to drunk drive for crying out loud!

Just kidding, but my previous car (Corolla) had the top of the line “Safety Sense” included as a standard feature (even on entry level). It would ding me if I did not use my blinkers to make a turn or change lanes - even at low speeds. I always use my blinkers btw.

Many turned it off for that reason but I found it useful on twisty turny roads even at lower speeds.

Anyway, seems I have a malfunctioning lane assist on my beloved Maverick?
