Was the original post a serious post or a sarcastic post?

I'll treat it was genuine. It looks to me like it's right up there with the other mid-size trucks. i.e. Frontier, Colorado, Canyon, Gladiator, Ranger.

Except the bed may not be as tall as the others (not sure about Gladiator, didn't look too hard into that one because to get a good trim is super expensive).
its pretty low to ground comparing to ranger, taco, etc

1. Bigger.

2. Lower ground clearance.

3. Ancient V6 with terrible mileage.

4. Starts at 38k with cloth seats.

5. Interior from 2012.

6. Will run circles around any Ford product when it comes to reliability.

So...good and bad. Overall, it's forgettable in a world where the Mav is available. Honda needs to get its shit together when it comes to it and their SUVs.

If serious…sold our Ridgeline (2017). Ridgeline is slightly wider, bed slightly bigger and towing capacity 1000 lbs better tHan 4K tow package. We prefer the Maverick ride, drive and size.

Our opinion - both equally capable with Maverick a nicer more modern drive and ride.

If it had a hybrid version and was under 45k, I'd have one in my garage instead of the Mav. I like Ford but love Hondas

Love the looks/Etc of the Gen/1 Ridgeline- I know the 2nd gen is very capable but zero interest in that- Looks like a civic with a bed, its a foot longer than the Maverick with less ground clearance- No thanks but I do like the HPD version- Crazy bronze rims / fender flares- Don't tell no one- Thx -lol
Really? I always thought the Gen 1 Ridgeline was the Pontiac Aztek of trucks as in butt ugly. The current generation is miles better in my opinion but still not great. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Even Heisenberg drove a Aztek lol.

We just got a Maverick as new shop truck....and we already have a 2020 Ridgline that pulls our toys to SCCA events. Apples to Oranges, the Maverick is smaller by every measure. So far the mileage is pretty much the same, I get low 20s with the V6 in the Ridgeline and same with EcoBoost 2.0 in the Maverick (I have a heavy right foot).

Lots more luxury in the Ridgeline, but I like the electronics and things like the Cruise Control more in the Maverick. The Maverick feels a lot lower and more sedan like, it feels obviously lower weight in the turns, looking forward to mods beyond the Magnaflow exhaust we played with last week.

We made our own springs and sway bar upgrade and exhaust for the Ridgeline, will likely do similar for the Maverick. But first it is at my Paint Protection Film guy getting the front end covered in PPF.

Here's what's big about it. The price.

It's almost twice the price of the Maverick, and that's before the ADM which I'm sure they're charging.

I think the comfortable interior distinguishes it from the mid-sized pack, but functionally they're in the same boat. I believe it's built on the Pilot platform.

my step dad had avalanche loved that thing the way you make extra space with bed was really cool. 250k Miles drove the heck of it.
When I was looking for alternative used vehicles to hold me over till I got my Mav, I looked at Avalanches and the amount of high (250k+) mileage were impressive. Those things must be tanks... but the mpg suuuuuuuucked.

What, you don't think they'll be doing this to their Ridgeline?

Ten bucks says that truck will never see dirt other than when the guy driving it pulls it onto his lawn.
