It does look incredible, I am also a service manager. It sounds like he told you what you wanted to hear, with no intent of honoring it.
I will tell that if you come into almost any Ford dealership and you have installed oversized tires, not listed on tire size plack, if anything is wrong with suspension or power train it more than likely will not be covered. Service managers are taught to look for reasons to deny warranty work, so that's an easy kill. No I'm not being fun just trying to prevent a headache down the road. I encourage all of my customers to wait until the warranty runs out.
Thanks, appreciate the advice. I hope he’ll keep his word like what he did to my mustang.

Looks great! Would be interested to hear the performance and comfort as daily driving and occasional off road adventures.
Thanks. I’ll update this thread for long term review

While that is certainly the case in a lot of places, it isn’t in all. That is, to me, the advantage of buying local and why I did so in lieu of one of the out of state dealers offering 3-4% off invoice. A good raport with your local dealer is far more beneficial in the long run than just a good front end deal.

The Ford dealer where I purchased my vehicle farms out their aftermarket work to a massive local aftermarket shop. The dealer gets a kickback on referrals and they warranty the work.

So I have to ask the service manager @Dside. What about if the tires were swapped with the 235/65R17 tires....as that is the other optional tire (instead of what some marketing reject thought should go on the FX4)? Can't see how they'd try to deny a warranty claim when that size is one of the optional sizes for the truck.

Now if you could just put 20s on instead of those tiny 17s!! I'm getting the 20s... and largest sidewall tires that will fit. Good to know yours fit.
20s!!! What kind of sidewall do you get with that on the Maverick? 🤣🤣

Very nice. Totally unrelated question, but do the tail lights light up around the edge or is that like a flash effect from the camera? I've heard and seen other discussions about differences between the lariat and lower trims but that was before folks started taking delivery.

I wasn’t sure until I notice it this morning. Yeah mine has light on the edge

Noob question: how do you recalibrate the speedometer after upsizing the tires?
I haven’t done mine after the swap, but I passed by a speed trap the other day and I’m just off by 1km/hr, (about half mile off)

I would say, you’re looking at a 45 series sidewall

Took me weeks to get the official wheel offset... I'm sure it will take months for Ford to produce measurement thresholds... If ever!
Yeah specs are still up in the air, I’m just scavenging google and YouTube for some information
