Definitely had room for larger diameter tires!
A little disappointed I didn't go with 255/65/17 or 245/70/17

I read through post after post after post on tires and made the decision to play it safe
with the 245/65/17's.

I put the stock set up next to my new wheels (hard to tell from picture angle)
but I swear the new one is actually slightly smaller tire diameter! It's not supposed to be, but it is.

It definitely rides nicer, and looks nicer.

Hopefully somebody else can use my experience to help them in their decision.
Made the change for aesthetic purposes only.

The Rough Country kit went on without problem, even though it's apparently not for use on Hybrid.

I went with 265/60/18. They are defiantly larger than stock, no lift, no rubbing! Happy with fit and ride.
Your truck looks great!

Dude....your choice of rims and tires is spot on. I just got my xl hybrid (cactus gray) 4 days ago. I would REALLY like to know how your lift and choice of tire has affected your MPG.....Any idea? Thanks for sharing.

I just took delivery of 2nd Hybrid yesterday- a Silver XLT this time

Plan for this one:
Keep Stock Wheels
HRG 1.5" Level kit
245/70/17 Toyo AT III

As far as mpg- no clue and honestly that is not playing into my decision making at all.
Only looking to make the trucks look good- these are for my Kids.

This is 100% the best fit for these trucks on the 17" wheel size. 255's and 70's end up looking a bit out of place on these unless the truck has a real lift. And even then it is questionable looks wise. Plus you lose a shit load of mileage with tires that big.

This looks great - I'm looking to do the same setup, level and same size tires. Any chance you can measure the height to the top of the wheel well front to back with the level when you have a chance? Wondering whether the 1" leaves any of the rake at all.

Car # 1 ran a red light- Car# 2 hit Car#1, Maverick hit Car #2
Ambulance took somebody away in car 1 & car 2.

Maverick had a less significant impact, but air bags galore fired off all over the place.
Feet, head, dash, wheel, door, etc. Maverick drove away from this- other 2 were towed on flat beds.

Its at the body shop now awaiting the word on repair or total loss.

Bummer! I'm sure it's totaled. I have seen them total a maverick for a lot less damage. I don't think I would want it back after that anyway, but I would certainly want another new Maverick! Best of luck!
