Hello Gary,

Ok, so you had a cancelled 22 Hybrid that was rescheduled as a 23?

The dealer is correct. No incentive or pricing protection from the original order. The private transition offer is supposed to make up for that.

The 23 order is a brand new order. Your incentive/pricing protection is based on the date that the 23 was ordered; Nov-14-2022 for you. There were no special financing rates to protect for 23 Mavericks (in Sept or Nov).

I trust my dealer though for peace of mind prior to picking it up if you could look mine up that would be appreciated. They already said they do not see any price protection, incentive, nor private offer for my 22 converted to 23 order that is in transport to my dealer within the next 10 or so day. Not a clue if that means they dropped the ball or my conversion did not get processed by a cut off date to be eligible for a private offer.

Your order is price and incentive protected to Sept 20, 2022. I don't think that prices have increased, so that is not relevant (but probably will be for late-build 23s).
There are currently no special low finance rates for 23 Maverick. There were none @ order date either, so nothing to protect.

If you are considering leasing, the leasing interest rates @ order date are better than the current ones. So if leasing is an option for you, make sure your dealer uses the "protection date" to figure out your lease payments.

I can't look into your private offer w/ out more personal info (your full name....and possible street address if there are multiple people w/ your name in your ZIP). If you want, you can send me a mssg w/ that info rather than publicly posting.

If a private offer does not show up for you, it probably means that they didn't follow the proper process for your 22 order. In order to be eligible for the private offer, the customer's 22 Mav order must have been approved in COVP/ROVP (the dealer had to submit a copy of a signed buyers order and your driver's license to prove to Ford that it was a genuine retail order).
If the dealer did the COVP properly and the private offer doesn't show up, then they can contact someone at Ford to get that sorted out.

Ordered mine on Nov. 21, 2021. It rolled over to the 2023 model year. I have a production date of February 13, 2023.

My Dealer said that Smart Vincent didn't have any information regarding Price Protection or a Private Offer. So, I called the Ford maverick Customer Serice Hotline (800) 334-4375 regarding Price Protection for my new Maverick.

They said I was protected by a "Model Year Transition" Private Offer of $1,750.00. They provided me with a "Certificate Number" for the Model Year Transition Private Offer.

They also said that this offer expires on April 3, 2023 but that the Dealer should extend it for me if my truck delivery date is scheduled after April 3, 2023.

I sent this info to my Dealer and he confirmed that the info I had received was correct.

The Customer Service Hotline folks seem to be very responsive and full of good info. I have called them twice and both times they were very helpful.
