So I need a little help from the group, I am down sizing from a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Evolution and although I fully understand that the Maverick is smaller I need to know if I can fit my 5’11 240lb body in it and not walk away feeling mangled after a 500 miles plus stretches if needed. I also need to commute with it for 50-150 miles a day for work. Am I just expecting too much from this truck ? Am I kidding myself that this truck can do it all. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Have you compared interior space specs between yours and Maverick? or Ford Ranger or Chevrolet Colorado

That’s what I’ll be doing this weekend, hope that someone who has actually sat in a Maverick and can give me an idea of the interior room, especially driver seat comfort and what is actually left of the back seat for anyone to ride in. I will need it to go from South Florida to Georgia and Western North Carolina a few times a year.

There have been lots of pics and feedback from folks that went to the Chicago Auto Show last week that say you will fit fine.
Had a 6’4” dude saying he fit fine. And I’m sure you weighed more than 240#.

I went to the Chicago Auto show and checked it out. Im 6'5" 260lb and I felt comfortable in the driver's seat. I'm coming from a 2013 Nissan Altima. It felt larger around the knee area, not quite as long, and felt truck like in the headroom.

Overall, I'm getting it as my daily driver and I feel very comfortable with it

If its anything like my 2020 Escape, it should be fine. I was 280lb @ 5'11" when I got it and I couldn't sit with the seat all the way back because my feet wouldn't touch the pedals LOL. (now down to 240, but a ways to go tho).
