My Mav was built on 10/13, shipped immediately to Kansas City, was there 10/20, and has been sitting on a dock in Kansas City since then, almost a month. Ford sent me an email and told me delivery to my dealer was 11/4 - 11/10, then it was 11/13 (a Sunday), I called yesterday and they told me 11/26 - 12/3. They can't move it 200 miles it seems. I contacted my dealer and they are doing what they can. But how they cannot seem to complete the delivery is beyond reason!

Sucks! At least you get an instant name for your Mav, Otis.

Mine has been sitting at the Mi assembly plant since September 30th. About 50 miles from my dealer. Numerous other Mavericks have been delivered to my dealer since then yet mine is just sitting there. I cannot get an explanation from my dealer or Ford customer support.

That KC railyard is a hot mess. I've read a lot of posts on the forum just like yours complaining about the amount time spent in KC.
Not much you can do about it unfortunately.....:(

Similar story, bottom line dealer has no control as it does not belong to them until unloaded from the truck on the lot.

This may have more to do with the railroad company than Ford or the dealer. Part of the recent supply chain disruptions were shortages of available rail cars and train crews, as I recall.
