Hi all! I have a 2025 Ford Maverick, and up until last month, I was able to switch SiriusXM stations using the steering wheel controls. Now, when I press the next arrow, it switches to the FM radio source instead. Does anyone know how to fix this? I had preset favorites saved and was previously able to scroll through both FM and SiriusXM stations seamlessly.

My 2025 has always switched to FM using the steering controls. It's one of the sillier/more frustrating things I've encountered in my truck.

My '22 Lariat has always worked as you described; steering wheel controls cycle through current media source favorites. Have you tried a head reset? The process is described in this thread:

Yeah mine has been that way since I got it, somewhat annoying but not really terrible as the next/previous track buttons on the dash still let you step through the stations, but I'd rather they mapped those steering wheel buttons to changing the channel instead of changing the audio source, too. Seems more likely you'd want quick access to flipping stations than selecting different media sources, but maybe that's just me.

Likely something to do with Sync 4 in the 2025's.

My 2022 works as well to cycle trough SiriusXM presets through the steering wheel.

I also noticed in the 2025 Bronco Sport loaner i had, it did Not show what songs are playing on the Sirius XM channels when browsing, just the channel name.

Made a post asking about it here, no responses.

yeah its such a pain, especially when you have google maps going. You have to constantly switch back to the source to change the xm station and then back to the apple car play
