Lariat but no SiriusXM

Hi guys,

I have a concern. The Siriusxm is optional or standard on the Lariat model. I have a Lariat Fx4 AWD and I don't see the SiriusXM option on the radio.

Do you have the luxury package? I believe the SiriusXM is only included on the lariat luxury, along with the upgraded B&O sound system.

I don't believe Sirius comes standard on any trim, just on Lariat with Lux package. You can however use the Sirius app on android auto or maybe carplay, I don't use apple products so not sure

Strange yours isn't showing, mine has Sirius XM listed as an audio source after you hit the "Sources" button on the radio tuner screen.

I would call the dealer service department, see if maybe they can look up your specific build by VIN and see if there's a Sirius module tied to it. I'd hate to think the factory left out the SXM tuner, but as far as I know there's no other way to get to the Sirius radio on the touch screen.

And you have tried hard reset? Power button and >> button for 10 seconds?

Have you tried disconnecting the negative battery cable for 15 minutes?

Try those two. If they don't work, service department it is.

Older info, found on the web, but wonder if it is related?;

"SiriusXM works in Puerto Rico but ONLY under the Sirius platform, NOT the XM or the SiriusXM platforms. So, if your satellite radio is an XM or SiriusXM radio, it WILL NOT work here in Puerto Rico"

UPDATE: Solved with FORSCAN

For some reason the modules to have SiriusXM available were disabled from factory. After playing for a while with FORSCAN I managed to activate it changing some APIM & ACM data blocks. It is still in the FREE months Trial.
