Single cab Maverick

I saw this in the Parking lot of my local Safeway grocery store, this guy made his own "Maverick" .

That is really clever. Ford has a unibody, 2 door pick-up/trucklett in Mexico. It’s small and I hoping that one day it could imported.

Every manufacturer had small pick-ups when I was in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

I have to wonder if this was a DIY job, a kit, or imported from another country. If DIY, this guy did a heck of a job! I'd love to see the front end. Myself, with family and dogs, I prefer the 4 doors, but clearly, some prefer the regular cab.

It looks like it was built from an older Ford Focus, pre 2005, when I looked at it, it looked like it was a DIY, if I see it again I'll ask him.
