If the tailight goes out like in the video above, isn't the 3 year warranty going to pay for it since it was electrical?

Simple answer is yes. Let's keep in mind the taillight spoken about on OP's video is from a 2018 Ford F-150 Limited which contained the radar sensors for side and rear activity. Fortunately, the Maverick's sensors are in the bumper and the taillight assemblies are a lot less complicated.
