Hi!

WHen I ordered the Maverick, I saw a Priority code 19 on my order and I learn today that some people have a code 10 or 15. What is the signification of that code?

Thank’s!

It's the order within your dealers allotment you will be scheduled all constraints being equal. Lots of order at your dealer, could be a big deal. Smaller dealer with few orders maybe not.

I’m really sorry to make your eyes bleed, but I have an excuse. English is not my first language. And I do not use English daily. But I’m making an effort.

From what I understand, the lower the number, the sooner the truck will be built barring any supply constraints. Thats why the rolled over Myers are supposed to end up a priority 02. So they will be built before the new my23 orders.

But which is better? 19 is faster than 10?

Fair, and apologies for being snarky. I am actually not very good with English and it's my only language so good on you, and I have no room to talk.

10 best a dealer can set. Below that is set by Ford as part of scheduling process.

Many dealers will do it differently. !0 would be the best and may be used for orders not fulfilled from October 2021....11 for November 2021.....12 for December 2021......and 13 for January 2022.
Others will set all original 22 orders at 10. The dealer can pretty much do whatever they want. Most of them should prioritize the original 22 orders. after that it's anybodies guess. There's what makes sense for fairness and then there is what they choose to do.

Priority between 10 and 19 applies only within a specific dealership. 10 is (on paper) a higher priority than is 19 when it comes to an order potentially being looked at for scheduling, but constraints and dealer allocations still come into play. So - again, within orders from a specific dealership - a priority 10 with constraints may be passed over in favor of a priority number from the same dealership with a number above 10 for which parts and options are in stock (or anticipated to be in stock) for a particular build week if there are any still open allocations for that dealer.

Then there are some dealers who assign the same priority across the board to ALL orders, in which case whether it is a 10 or a 19 is irrelevant within such a dealer's orders but constraints and allocations at that individual dealership still apply when it comes to being scheduled for production.
