Received the long-awaited call: "Your Maverick is here" this past Thursday. Picked up my Lariat yesterday ordered on Nov 23rd. It is everything I expected it to be. Closing the deal at Ballentine Ford, Greenwood SC went without any problems. MSRP, Zero percent interest, price protection, and $500 Farm Bureau Certificate honored.

Special shoutout to my salesperson Bailey Young who is in the picture below with the ugly old guy (that would be me) As you can perhaps tell by the picture, Bailey is now a little over eight months pregnant. We joked on what would come first: Her baby or my truck. Bailey was great on communication and for you Augusta GA area guys, the Doc fee was $225 versus eight or nine hundred for Augusta area ford dealers.

I had only seen the velocity blue color before. The dealer got in mine, Cactus G, a silver, and an area 51. I still like the CG, but the other two were also good-looking trucks.

Thanks to all the persons and FordVideoGuy on this forum who have given good ideas and shared the anxiety of the whole process it takes these days.

For those waiting: Yes wait, stay the course. For those with their trucks: Keep on Truckin!

FYI: Was scheduled for delivery on Aug 8th. Arrived on July 27th.
