Took delivery May 4th.... Yep it lives in the Desert, Tucson. 1 pic worth a thousand words... Here ya go. ( Just noticed this today, have not yet contacted Ford or the dealer...) It is only occuring on rear doors window seal, trailing corner, both sides.
Lariat Lux Hybrid, 7500 miles on the odometer since May 4th. Several road trips over 200 - 500+ miles round trip. Only other issue is that damn rattle in the dash on bumpy, washboard type dirt roads.

Before the curmudgeon speak up, (and we know they will....) Yes, I believe that the seal/weatherstrip are shrinking and is not an install error. I believe it's a materials issue.

Yap, I would say it's a major rust issue if water gets to any bear metal

Living in the desert, rust is pretty much a foreign concept even on vehicles known to rust. Although I'm sure in other areas of the country rust is a real concern. Besides it being unsightly visually, my concern is wind noise and water intrusion on those rare days it does rain in the desert.

Yes. Desert vehicles rust from inside. Some time moisture got no place to escape. And that's why vehicle pain bubbles as well. If you don't see it doesn't mean it is not existing issue.

Hello! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this concern. Thanks!
