Did you get any pushback? Can the dealer see if the part has been revised?

I was expecting some and shocked that I didn’t.

I am now having this same issue on my 22, calling dealership tomorrow.
Good luck, I wonder if the stupid thing shrunk?
It took me two appointments, one to access and take measurements which concluded with the dealership having to order a new one.
All under warranty.

My 22 has the same concern, I noticed after the airbag recall was done - figured I would live with it, since I didn't want to deal with noises if was replaced - BUT, let us know how yours comes out, OP?

Take it into your dealer. My 22 hybrid had the same thing and they replaced the headliner under warranty.

Good morning,
Anyone notice how little if any overlap there is as far as the rubber door seal over the edge of the headliner?
On my 2022 FX4 the foam/cloth edge of the headliner basically just butts up against the door weatherstripping/door seal. Not the best way to ensure long term durability.

We have a 2019 F-150 and Escape and both have about 1/2" of headliner under the seal.
To add, this is on ALL 4 doors on the Maverick so it must be intentional?
If so it's also very and subpar! It's a FORD not a Skoda or Yugo.
Maybe it's just mine:mad:

Update!!! Thanks to this wonderful forum and this post I was able to get my Liner replaced under the 3/360000 warranty. I never knew it was covered until I saw this post. Thanks

How long did it take to get your truck back after they replaced the head liner and how is it holding up? Mines been there almost 2 weeks as they said they had to check the side airbags first. I knew from our site here that the head line will need to be replaced!
