My Maverick is rarely called upon to perform heavy truck tasks. Infrequently, it will haul my wife’s most recent oversized yard sale find. More commonly the bed will be loaded with swimming pool chemicals from the big box store or the weekly groceries. I have it set up or those purposes. I make use of two envelope-style elastic nets. One at the front wall of the bed holds my pouched windshield sun screen and a drawstring bag holding my dogs’ rear seat cover for trips to the groomer or vet. At times, I may add another bag with my truck cover. A second net is found at the foot of the bed for groceries and such.

The blue trunk organizer you’ll see in the accompanying photos holds my portable car vac, auto cleaning supplies, and a small folding cooler. The aluminum tool box secures my hazard lights, ratchet tiedowns, horizontal cargo net, ice/snow scrapper, fuel funnel, and assorted bungees. Two folding camp chairs stay with the truck for the many trips we make to watch the grandkids' sports events. A ratcheting cargo bar keeps everything from sliding around.

I have secured a number of Molle pouches to the sidewall Molle panels. You’ll also find attached an extendable reaching tool to draw items to the tailgate. If I need the full capacity of the truck bed everything can be lifted out and set aside on the edge of the driveway. I love the utility of my Maverick .

Something I added a while back and did a thread on these mounted retractable ratchet straps. I cut the hooks off of em and replaced them with 12kn carabineers. That way I can slip her strap through the factory tie downs. You can go high or low with em. You can make a X or parallels across the back against the tailgate. You can loop em through the tailgate tie points. Pretty sure it was right around $50 for the pair. I can't say that I have loaded anything in the truck that they haven't helped with. I can only imagine if I didn't have a topper I would put 2 at the front as well. And likely never need to untangle a ratchet strap again.

What're the latches that you used for connecting them? They look like they can still stay together when folded and I'd love to give this a shot.
I found them on line. They are rusty already but work great. Made in china. More expensive ones made of stainless steel would be better.

Besides the standard LineX, bed rails, bed dividers and cover, I added some trunk space to my bed. Pelican box for more space, and a smaller Coho box. Both are weather proof. They are secured with python style cable master locks. The Pelican box is kept in place by a Harbor Freight ratcheting cargo bar.

I use 5 things to help me stay organized:

1. Lomax hard trifold cover
2. Truxistm - bed divider
3. Buckhorn storage bin - 48x15x7.5
4. Bungee cord
5. 2 Rubbermaid 4.6 gallon trays - 20x15x5

I had a Truxistm bed divider in my f150. Great stuff.

Mine is a large plywood drawer over the bed rug. Glued large furniture sliders to the bottom.

I’ve got a simple setup in the back of my truck. I 3D-printed a bracket to hook into the Ford cleat cargo system, basically acting like a cheaper version of the Ford bed divider. I made it with a 2x3 and some sheet wood. For storage, I’m using an old milk crate and a Rubbermaid 8-Gallon Action Packer bin.

Now wait just a damn minute! Any F450 owner with a 12" lift and huge tailpipe blowing black smoke will tell you Mavericks aren't real trucks!
