I don't know for sure but can almost assure you that they would also fit the Escape.
Once I actually have my hands on mine - I am hopeful that I can find some Fox coilovers that fit the Maverick that will help me make it more of a trail runner for washboard roads and trails it'll be going on.
They may fit others but all shocks are Maverick specificly developed.
I would wager FX4 shocks would be nice upgrade for escape and transit if they fit.
When I got a replacement strut for mine, it said bronco sport on the box. I was skeptical that they order the right strut, but compared it to the old one and matched up.
I would agree that they are most likely valved to each vehicle and that would be the biggest difference.
These are the struts shown on Ford parts. Three different flavors, standard, rough road and performance. Based on price I'm going to guess that "rough road" is Tremor and "performance" is FX4 but who knows. Not much price variation between the three and under "fits these vehicles' it only lists the Maverick for all three.
I installed the RC 1" leveling kit on my XLT EB. I love the looks and the additional front lower bumper clearance. However I immediatly noticed the suspension feels like it is bottoming out when hitting road bumps/bad roads. I drive the same route every day, same ugly roads and always hit the same bumps, I noticed the before and after right away.
Anyone has any idea on how to recover the original ride comfort , how to get rid of the new stiffness? I read a few articles referring to it as a "decrease in the suspension down travel which causes it to bottom out on the droop stops" due to the leveling kit spacers installed. But I have no clue on how to fix that and still keep the leveling kit.
Any suggestions/ideas? at first I thought looking for an aftermarket set of new shocks could do it.. then I thought the tremor shocks but I really don't know what I am lookin for :S
