I ordered from Ed at Chapman on 11/30, got an 'In production" email from Ford on 12/02. Built 01/25 and delivered on 02/07 and was Courtesy Dropped to Houston, Tx. Ed was great, communication excellent and the price was what he quoted on 11/30 with a $28 adj to doc fee he said went up after first of the year.

did you pay the $1400 just in case you don't want the car?

That's great! I don't know why I was told that if I ordered they could not do a courtesy ship??? I ended up ordering from Granger in Iowa instead. Congrats

They stopped doing it because of the whiners complaining when Chapman told them they would be charge a fee to ship it back to PA if the buyer decided not to buy it.

Actually for me it was $2,318 deposit. I didn't mind because I knew I would buy the truck. Which I did. But I was told that upfront.
