I'm looking to trade in my brand new black XLT. i was going to take it to Carmax tonight. Has anyone gotten any used Carmax for trading in their Mavericks?

No different than any car. Only good/bad thing is carmax is no haggle, which is buying or selling. What they offer is what you get, take it or leave it.
You don’t sell “on CarMax”, you sell to CarMax, a used car dealer who would buy it from you and then sell it. You give them the title, they give you a check and pay off your loan. Whatever they sell it for has no affect on you.

Selling 2022 XLT to CarMax when I get my 2024 XLT probably in the fall. What I get probably will be enough to pay for the '24.
New warranty, tires, brakes, Ford Points, etc. Kinda makes sense to me. I won't turn loose of the '22 til the' 24 comes in.
