Mine will eventually turn off after I buckle my seatbelt, but you're right that it should turn off immediately after. Especially since I can't switch drive modes while it's on the screen. The amount of bings, bongs and notifications for every stupid thing is infuriating. My problem with isn’t that it’s there necessarily. It’s just it should go out once it determines all people that are in the vehicle are buckled (which I am usually the only person in the vehicle) I would like that to go out as soon as my seat belt is on. What I hate is that it stays on even though it knows I am belted and there Is no one else in the vehicle. Its annoying to push ok every time I get in to drive. Ford needs to either fix it, or allow people to disable it. It does not influence me to put on the seat belt since I do that anyways.
