My problem with isn’t that it’s there necessarily. It’s just it should go out once it determines all people that are in the vehicle are buckled (which I am usually the only person in the vehicle) I would like that to go out as soon as my seat belt is on. What I hate is that it stays on even though it knows I am belted and there Is no one else in the vehicle. Its annoying to push ok every time I get in to drive. Ford needs to either fix it, or allow people to disable it. It does not influence me to put on the seat belt since I do that anyways.
Mine will eventually turn off after I buckle my seatbelt, but you're right that it should turn off immediately after. Especially since I can't switch drive modes while it's on the screen. The amount of bings, bongs and notifications for every stupid thing is infuriating.

Bings could be a problem. But I love my bong.

I went to the same place! I can’t do water pipes anymore though. I’m too lazy to keep them clean!

Most reviewers probably don't mention this because it is quite common on new cars.

I don't understand the hostility towards it. I don't have kids, but I do have adult friends who regularly (but not always) forget to buckle if they're seated in the rear. Maybe I'm weird, but I find it slightly uncomfortable to have to turn around and check or ask. This feature solves that issue.. would be even better if it would beep constantly until everyone is belted.

These things exist for a reason.

If your friends can't remember to buckle up then they're basically your kids. :p

This may have been covered, but the seat occupancy graphic on the dash is incredible! This feature could save a life. Keeping babies safe and protecting the environment is all in a days work for the Mav!
Wow, that’s cool! Wish I had that when my son was a baby, as we had a couple close calls. (For those without kids, you wouldn’t believe how easy it can happen. It’s crazy. This feature is long overdue.)

… Hopefully my Mav won’t get pissed if I purposely leave my now 8 year-old son in the truck when he’s having one of his fits. 😂🤣😂

Somehow I got it to go away by buckling and unbuckling each belt 50 times, then rats chewed my wires and after it’s back from dealer, it displays again, very annoying...the only bright light is the start stop quit working, the engine stays on without hitting the button!
