The screen goes blank, but the Radio works; or the screen freezes, and nothing works. I am out of town, have an appointment at L H Miller Ford when I return. The constant trips to the dealer for warranty work is getting hard to take. I love the Mav, but I have never had so many issues with a new vehicle; and I have owned many new cars.

Just do a hard rest of the screen by pressing the play and FF buttons for 5-10 seconds. Agreed about the buggy infotainment screen though, it's a bit of a pain.

I believe that a tsb was issued in June for sync issues such as yours. Sw update at dealer.

My 2023 Lariat did that and the button reset only temporarily fixes that. Sykora Family Ford service department did a complete reset of the entire truck and the problem never returned. Something only a knowledgeable dealer can do. They have been excellent to me and 18 miles from me and I did not buy my truck from them. They are in the city of West, Texas. I have had my truck since the second of September 2023 and it has given me very good reliable service.

Thanks, the problem comes and goes, will try the next time it happens.
Until you get the software updates done, a reset should fix it. No need to wait until it locks up again. Just hold down the power & skip forward buttons until the blue Ford logo appears on-screen. That will reboot/clear the Infotainment system and should make it work better.

I had similar issues and downloaded the latest SYNC software and the problems went away.

Reset did not work. Likely the screen needs an update or it is NFG
