Good Day Folks, wondering if anyone has any thoughts on scotch guarding brand new seats in our new Mav? Anyone had experience with this and should I do it?

I do it on every new car i get with fabric seats. Go for it. One can will do it. Spray up and down then side to side on every area of the seats. The scent will be strong for a few days.

I think a product like that is a good idea for fabric seats.

I did it to our X L T cloth and kept in garage a day with the windows open. Smell almost gone after that.

Haven't had a vehicle with fabric seats in a very long time. But I did that many years ago, late 70's when kids were in car seat stage and a few years afterwards. Worked very well on the spills etc from the kids. Would be good even without kids with spilling accidents, normal grime & whatnot. Go for it, definitely recommend it.
