Yes I am using the one at the top of the list. I can double check the parameters? Do you think another one would be a better choice for SOC?
Where did you get your codes?
The online ones were for Generation one (2005-2008) Hybrid Escapes.

SOC is ALWAYS 26% to 72%.

Rarely lower than 30% or higher than 70%.

Typically 40% to 60%.

CPL is almost always 32 (kW) if temperatures are mild and battery is less than 65% full.

I don't know if your CPL is correct or you just got lucky.

No, the top one is good to know. I expect your off by a decimal place which I think is co trolled by the third column. Double check the MTH value

If it is off by a known factor (like factor of ten) the MTH or math can be redone.

Hybrid Battery Amps: usually 30 to 50 while you putz around in EV mode. But I've seen a peak of 75 amps in EV. Never higher.

With the engine running the system does not have to hold anything in reserve for starting the engine. Absolutely flooring it, I've seen 150 amps come out of the battery.

So that's what you can expect to see when set up correctly.

HTH

Would you mind explaining why lower is better?

I updated two of the mth and they are better now.

I think the bottom right displays an A instead of an 8 sometimes? Odd

Lower what is better? I don't understand what you are asking.

SOC could be true.
Voltage is way off.
Letters are used in base 16 hexadecimal which is what the CAN BUS speaks in, 10 numerals plus 6 letters. Basically it has 16 characters for data versus "decimal" where deci means "ten".

"I don't know if your CPL is correct or you just got lucky."

I thought this might have meant I was lucky because my CPL is lower.

No. I meant lucky your math codes calculated out to about 32.

Mine with the latest and greatest firmware in the ScanGauge III computes to 32 almost all the time.

It tapers down slowly when the battery gets cooler and cooler, and tapers rapidly when the battery charges above 65% like when going down a hill.

When you get in after sitting all night and it's cooler than the 60's expect the number to be smaller and come back up as the temperature rises. If it is always the same number it's not working.

If SOC hits 65 and still climbs and CPL goes down at the same time, both are probably correct. At 70% SOC the CPL should be zero. Or maybe 1.

Thanks for the explanation. It's been in the 30s at night and 40s during the day.
