I bought one of these for my Maverick in February 2024 and have already had to make a warranty claim in August because the adhesive underneath the cover that attaches the cross bar sleeves failed and this thing was flapping all over the place. They have since repaired it (for free, lucky me) and then charged me about 35 bucks to get it shipped back to me. Keep in mind this SOFT cover was $500 already. I expected quality for that cost, not something that falls apart within 6 months of buying it. Their return policy makes sure you don't find out about the adhesive not working well because you can't return it after the box has been opened - convenient, for them. The warranty is luckily a year but since it was likely repaired using the same adhesive, I foresee this problem happening again soon if I continue to regularly use it as a bed cover.
How did this happen you ask? The wind whipped it too much at highway speeds until the adhesive couldn't hold on anymore. They mention on their site that the portion closest to the cab will flap more than other parts and that is true - in the Maverick it will actually impede your ability to see directly behind you in the rearview mirror. I noticed that it got exceptionally worse and I couldn't see much after I did a long road trip and that's what lead me to investigating and finding the adhesive issue. Something tells me these guys didn't test this thing while going 70-80mph like most people drive on the interstate. There is significantly less flapping at 60mph but I'm not going 10 under the speed limit forever because the cover can't take it. So if you do feel like paying a lot more than any other soft cover costs, keep it rolled up while casually driving around and if you do need to unroll it to use it, try and make sure something is pressing against it and making it stretch otherwise it will flap itself until it breaks.
In the mean time, I will be looking for another cover, likely a hard one this time, like I should've done from the get-go. Don't make my 500 dollar mistake by buying this thing unless you actually need to stretch it and use it as intended.
