Same for me. I have the Rough country 1” lift, and when at the dealership at about 20k miles, they showed the leaking boot etc on one side. It’s unclear to me that they replaced the shaft or just serviced the joint, boot etc. anyway, they did not point out the lift kit, nor did I. I still...
I have the 1UP Heavy Duty 2 bike rack and it doesn’t quite clear the tailgate, although maybe extending it out more will address it. Their racks are worth the money, but 2x your budget. Their racks require extra wide arms for really wide tires like on some e-bikes, and that’s more$$. I be am...
Well, my 22 XLT fx4 has over 20k on it in two years of ownership. based on many other posts here, it may not be the fault of the 1" lift kit. There are many others with CV issues on the forum, most of which don't have a leveling kit. I'll post when the dealership does their thing to me...
See my other reply that I’ve had no issues, but lo and behold, at the dealer Saturday for an oil change, one of the shafts joints was leaking grease pretty bad. It’s under warranty, but I don’t think they know of the 1” inch lift (yet). I expect that to come up when they replace it when the...
I have a 22 XLT fx4 etc with Rough Country 1” front lift that I think gets it level. Other than being lazy to adjust the front lights, it looks better and drives the same. We’ll see what gets discovered in the future with wear and tear on anything.
I have a 22 XLT fx4 in carbonized gray. The only paint problems so far are self inflicted chips from using it as a 1/2 beater and bike transport. Hope not to have a flaking problem…who does? Lol
I really like the location of the bike tray so I can get rid of the hitch rack for all the reasons mentioned. The but here is, I don’t want to buy/build a big structure that gets in the way of the sawtooth tonneau or the bed itself. I see a custom two leg vertical thingy in the future for me...
I have had the same issues with my sawtooth cover. Excessive heat and highway driving have caused the seams to nearly come apart. It is water resistant as stated. This would work best for off roading and camping etc.
I was avoiding a traditional tonneau cover but will soon be looking at the...
I just had an oil/filter change at the local Ford dealer, quick and easy access and no spills. I made sure the dealer remembered to put the 2 access plates back. 22 XLT EB
Just put mine in. Thanks to the writer above. Easy, only 4 bolts and I was able to use the OEM bolts that are heavier duty than the Rival ones. We’ll see what the oil change dudes do with it. FYI I ordered when Rival first posted their product availability and were nearly on their June 30...
Just got mine also…thanks for the intel, esp knowing it took an hour w/o a lift. Glad I made the right choice for me based on others observations. ‘22 XLT FX4
