Personally I like mine as it's a nice spot for my phone mount. Either way, I'm not "upgrading" the refresh so I don't care. I do like the new screen size though. I'm actually impressed they didn't go full retard (can I still say that word?) on the more vertical style ones. Any vehicle they take away physical controls from and put them in a screen I will never buy. It was a major reason why I declined the new Colorado/Canyon (among many others).

My question is why do so many want a bigger screen? What more will be on it that can not be on the smaller one?

Until you own one and constantly wonder "What on earth can I use that space for?", you won't understand.
