I don't understand how Ford can sell a vehicle without posting crash/safety data, yet can't sell vehicle without EPA. approval????

I have not seen any safety info on any of the window stickers that I have seen posted.

Would like your input about buying a vehicle that may not pass safety standards.

Safety standards aren't released for awhile after. I think the bronco sport wasn't released until this past year. It obviously will pass the mandatory requirements needed in a car. It's not like you can sell a car without airbags

Because the safety the government cares about is just a check list, not actually testing anything.

The testing is done by an independent organization, the IIHS, which has nothing to do with the manufacturers or government.

I have a feeling it'll be fine, since the Escape and Bronco Sport are fine. I am curious to see how they rate the headlights though. Seems like LED reflectors don't always do well in testing compared to LED projectors.
