I have insulation on my Lariat. Not much good. Just a strip that goes from clip down, and don't seal anything. gaps all around. This has been discussed on another thread, back in 2022 when Maverick was being built for the first time, you might want to check it out.
You are not alone about alarm. There are misprints in the owners manual. Manual states to push lock button on fob. Does not state you have to push it twice and hear the horn sound to get basic alarm to work. No one seems to know this, to include the folks at ford that the dealer talks to...
I inquired about Alarm a year ago. No reply from Ford, or Dealer. Truck was in to check out alarm, I was told that sensors and tilt was not there, per Ford diagnostic equipment. Dealer placed an inquiry with Ford, no response, Dealer owner placed another inquiry, again no response From Ford...
At present time, there is NO known fuel plug. This will not fit Maverick. I have checked with various auto part stores as well as Ford parts and they all said there is not a plug that fits Maverick. Even tried several plugs. Hope the after market catches up and makes a plug soon.
The other...
Great job, looks real good! Just for information, I went looking for full size spare at my dealer. I was quoted $1200 each for the one l have that is same as pictured here. Valvestem/pressure senser about $100. Tire depended on what tire I chose.
MSRP is probably the best you will see. Many dealers are charging hundreds even thousands over MSRP. If its still there and you really want a Maverick you probably should have bought it. It wont stay on dealer lot for very long.
My van was a plymouth grand voyager minivan. Other vans of the time looked like cutoff regular vans. Check with Bryan Thomas at Jenkins & Wynne, phone 931-538-7000 tell him that Mike C. referred you. He has been a great help and friend after the sale. He is also retired military. New orders...
Hi I am from Clarksville area. Love My Maverick. Lariat Lux, FX4, 4kTow, 2.0l. I have not seen any other Mavericks in area, dealer said several have been sold. I get over 28mpg hi way and 24-26mpg around Clarksville. This has been the best vehicle I have owned since the 1989 van I bought...
I havent had any leaks on my trifold since I corrected the dealer install. Only time I get any leakage is when I fold it up when there is water on it. Making sure the cover rails and centering top makes all the difference. I also like the idea of larger drain tube size.
Mine also had leaks, untill I loosened up the knobs on underside front and adjusted the fit. Now It only has a small amount of water if I fold it up when wet. Service at my dealer did'nt even know where the placement of the drains was supposed to be. I watched the vid on BAK on installing the...
you need to get the u shaped bracket all the way to the top. I found that the pop rivit gets caught, and then the prop rods won't fit to prop open the cover. You may also need to adjust(center) the cover. 2 knobs under the front corners. Loosen them up and you can adjust cover. take knobs...
Fx4 has 17" rims other packages have 18" rims. the outer diameter comes out to be the same for either tire. The taller tire is put on 17" rims, thus the outer measurements are about the same. Only way to get larger diameter is to custom build and put larger tires and rims on. Most are also...
My dog didn't scratch it but was sliding around and could not keep himself from sliding. I got a bath towel and sewed straps in several locations to tie it to the bottom of seat. now he can sit still and not slide all over the back. When towel gets dirty I take it off and put in washer for...
The 235 tires are due to off road. Need extra cushioning so you don't ruin rims. 17 in. vs 18 in rims. The final drive makes up for lack of Sport mode. Mine is hot, but according to speedometer I am averaging 24-25 mpg. around town. Goes up closer to 30mpg on short road trips. I have both...
