on the hybrid, you need to modify the s bolts on the center passenger bracketAny problems with the installation like having to drill holes or did it bolt right on?
I see above that many don't think that running boards are needed but they don't have riders that have some type of disability like extreme arthritis that prevents full movement to get in.
Thanks for the tip. Since I don't have my truck yet, I think I will wait until I can get one made for the hybrid. I don't have the skills or equipment to make modifications.on the hybrid, you need to modify the s bolts on the center passenger bracket

Asked the place that did my spray on bedliner if they installed them and he said yes but not on Mavericks because they are unibody and there are no secure points to attach to I saw a set on a Maverick and liked the low rider look ,but going with the advice of the guy who turned down a profit because he didn't feel they could honor their warranty.Your bang on , I had them on my wranglers 100% door ding protection (NOTHING WAS TALL ENOUGH TO HIT MY DOORS)and a bonus was keeping road grim of the paint… but the maverick is a different beast, any taller vehicle like mid size trucks will still connect with your doors and you loose ground clearance witch was never a big deal on my jeeps. But if done well thay can look nice. I do miss the protection now im that guy parked at the very furthest spot.![]()
My wife and I both have lumbar spine problems. She's had 3 fusion surgeries and I have 2 ruptured discs and advanced degenerative disc disease up and down my spine. She has RA and l have Arthritis in every joint. Neither of us has any problems or pains getting in or out of my Jeep or her Subaru Outback. Our 2018 F-150 is a different story as it requires a step up and hip twisting motion to get inside. Used to aggravate back pain every time we drove it. Eventually I had a brainstorm to try running boards to change the approach. Totally fixed the issue - and we wondered what took us so long to figure that outAny problems with the installation like having to drill holes or did it bolt right on?
