On my previous xlt I installed the Rough country +1.5" struts from Bronco Sport in the front and they worked just fine.

On my new Lariat , I decided to go with the Rough country +2" struts in the front and couple that with Eibach +1" in the rear. Based on my measurements that should give me no rake. I did not go with the RC full 2"lift package as I wanted to avoid use of subframe spacers.

Planning to get this installed at the earliest shop availability!

Will see how this works , the idea is to keep comfort and gain extra clearance.

Cheers

Looks pretty level with no rake. How do you like the ride quality so far? I was considering going with the bronco sport 1.5 inch lift from rough country as well. but wasn't sure if it would level the truck. How did you like the comfort of those on your xlt?

Hi man.

Ride quality - I think with the current Maverick options out there the loaded struts from RC are the best cost effective option for the front with the highest lift, highest comfort and as close to stock, almost stock like ride, you would barely feel a difference.
Now for the rear, the eibach springs are supposed to be OEM spring rate, however being longer (1" longer vs stock) they extend your shock by the the same about 1" too, that leaves a few more work on the spring from what I feel. If you hit a big road bump there is tendency to feel a "top out", as the shocks are already extended. They make the rear of my truck feel slightly more "jumpy" meaning it tends to jump a little bit more than stock. The normal ride feels very good overall, my kids have not noticed any change on comfort in the rear but I can slightly feel it when driving the rear over bump stops. I am happy I did not install the eibach in the front...

I feel very happy with the results overall, but I would consider installing the full +2" lift from RC (front and rear). I have heard good feedback on that one. I just did not do the full kit to avoid replacing the rear shocks and adding the subframe metal spacers.

Leveling - As for the leveling, every truck is different in terms of rake, you need to take some measurements to try to best estimate what the end height is going to be. I lifted my other XLT with the front RC +1.5" struts , added 245/65 falkens and still retained a rake of about 0.6" which was good and unoticeable to the human eye, it looks leveled.

On this Lariat, I had a different factory rake and decided to keep the stock michelin tires. I used the RC 2" front and 1" rear eibach and still retained a small rake of 1/4" which some would say shows initial signs of squat, due to the shape of the maverick hood.

cheers

Cool! Don't think I've seen this setup before.
