Hi everyone! It's finally getting warmer out, I have plans to get my herculiner rolled on. Do I have to remove the cubbies for complete coverage or is it just taping around them sufficient? My concern is putting the cubby back after and having it sit flush with the truck since there will be thin bedliner between them.

Remove it. The thickness is negligible and it'll look cleaner than trying to apply around it..

Agree, that's what our (dealer) installer did. Plus it's soft when it's first sprayed, so if they put the cubbies back in right away it will fit right in.

BE CAREFUL if you remove the bed tie down hooks-there was a recall early on that Ford's spray bedliner installer was using a drill to clean the holes out after spraying and punctured at least one fuel tank...

The hybrid tank is right under those hooks.

REMOVE is my vote, don't think they remove the cubby/panel with the factory SIBL. I added a cubby on the drivers side and now there's a spot without SIBL at the bottom of the cubby. Bet mat hides it well

I used Herculiner and removed the cubbies, also put old bolts in all the bolt holes. Time consuming but worth it.
