I finally finished modifying a ROLA #59799 rack (for Toyota Tacoma) to fit my Maverick so I could get my 9’ surfboard safely to the beach. This was not a simple task and took days, not hours to complete but I'm old, retired and work pretty slow.
I wanted it to ride low, out of the wind, so I cut 5” off of the uprights and instantly thought of using the cut pieces to make a short rack. I just need to make 4 pads that the cross bars bolt to and weld them onto the stubs but that’s another project, Ha!
I installed the Unistrut. Take note that the second mounting point, from the rear, is not on the same centerline as the other mounting points. Go Figure?
Then bolted on some 1/4" x 2" x 2" aluminum to the Unistrut. Of course I had to trim 1/4" or so off one flange to clear the bed lip.
