I'm not disagreeing. But I can't tell how you can tell that from the video. They look rigid to me like the Ford flaps. I'm not saying I like them but I can't tell how they look cheap. Plastic is plastic. I do like they cover the area better than the Fords. They appear to have a stronger my supportive connection with the vehicle than the Fords.

I'm not sure it I want floppy rubber ones flopping all around either. I just have a hard time spending $150 for something I don't have to install them on. Not sure if the return policy extends until next year in case I never get a build date. So I'm not spending anything yet. Sorry, I did buy a keychain from eBay.
The front guards attach the same in both versions. The Ford rears have 5 attachment points compared to the 3 on these. I like the Ford guards because they are molded, but yet they lack the extra coverage.

After watching the install video, think I like the Ford molded ones better. They are cheaper also.
I don't, for the reason that @SgtLip pointed out with the gaping holes, and also because the molded ones can't bend out of the way. They'll crack, break, or smash up the bedside instead.

But for the price of those RokBlokz, I'd be tempted to just get some Husky Liners Long Johns and trim them down.

Heck, in the spirit of DIY as the Maverick is marketed, I'd probably first try to just cut some mud flaps out of a trash can. I successfully did it before on a car that didn't have any OEM or aftermarket options available at all.

The trash can worked great because the plastic is soft and pliable enough to bend out of the way, but rigid enough to avoid "flap sailing".

I don't claim to be a craftsman, but some careful trimming with tin snips netted me something that looked darn near like an OEM accessory and not like a piece of trashcan screwed to the wheel wells.

They did eventually get a bit of a wind-swept curl after something like 50,000 miles. But they worked great for being $11 a pair.

Love it. You could watch the RokBlokz install video a couple of times and then use the existing holes in your Maverick to get the pattern and it should work. The RokBlokz look like a straight slab of plastic. If you sort of get the idea of the shape you should be able to copy and cut.

I used good ole CAD (that's Cardboard-Aided Design) to make the ones for the car. Just start with a basic shape, trim, and test fit a dozen times. Then measure and punch the mounting holes. An easy way is to put a dab of grease on the screws in the wheel well that you plan on using, then press the cardboard mud flap right on top. Then realize you missed, try again, and actually screw the cardboard ones on the car. Don't forget to turn the wheels and check for rubbing.

Once you're satisfied with the shape/design/position/fit, use your cardboard mud flaps as templates and trace on the trash can and trim them out.

Though along with cutting out the flaps out of the trash cans, for the car I made them for, I cut some 1-inch-tall, slightly-wedge-shaped spacers out of a solid plastic rod. Those were used to get the position and angle of the rear mud flaps just right.

It looks like the Maverick will be easier than the car I made the Mark I versions for since the RokBlokz video shows what looks like a virtually flat piece of plastic being bolted straight on without any spacers or wedge pieces.

I'll probably get these. I have Rally Armor flaps on my Subaru and I love them. RokBlokz are similar. Maybe I should put an inquiry with Rally Armor.

Nice simple procedure and well done with the video... personally, I don't like that look and maybe it is difficult to assess quality; but I get the impression those are rather cheap construction... comment kindly if you have contrary comments - please?
I have similar RallyArmor flaps on my Focus ST for 7 years. The RallyArmor and RokBlokz I believe to be superior to OEM for the following reasons:
1)Material is a very thick indestructible rubbery plastic, so they bend out of the way instead of breaking if they hit snow, dirt, rocks, or something else.
2) The slots give you some adjustability in/out and up/down for desired look and coverage.
3) They flex a bit at highway speeds so they do not hurt your mpg as much as oem flaps.

I had RallyArmor on my 02 WRX and my 14 Focus ST. Would love a set for Maverick!

They are way expensive and should be about $100 for the whole set. That being said, I like the design and looks better than the Fords. Im buying a set.

If you exchange the rights and the lefts, the logo will be on the inside.
You can get Black with a Black Logo. But I like the reverse option too.

By the time we start getting our Hybrids, there will be lots of choices to pick from. This set looks pretty good but there will be more in the next few months.

Let's hope. Everywhere I look, no one has Maverick stuff yet.

I ordered a set! Glad they made something available so quick. I had Rockblokz on my first Subaru and really liked them.

Not a fan of the look, Think I will wait for the Weathertech, always had good luck with them and should only be $89 for the set.
