Found the right area of the forum for bed liners lol

Can get Line X for 660 or Rhino for 500, from reviews I have read doesn't seem like Line X is that superior to Rhino to justify a $160 difference.

Thoughts or opinions?

Much appreciated.

Have Rhino Liner on my 2006 Ranger still in great shape after all these years, a little faded I guess, but will put it on My Mav when I get it, even better if it's cheaper!

Either or is fine. Rhino is a bit softer and won’t scratch things as much where Line X is more abrasive. Both work.

I've had Rhino on truck beds before but have only seen Line X. Rhino is thicker and has more grip than Line X. Can make sliding things out of the bed more difficult. On the other hand, items slide around less.

Rhino can be gouged if one gets over zealous with a shovel.

I think the installer is more important than the brand of the product you will spray on. It seems all the big names on the market (Line-x, Bullet, Rhino etc.) are pretty similar but there are tons of quality differences when it comes to people who do the job. Maybe my post here will help a little:

Do your research and find the best shop in your area and you will be fine independent of the brand.

If you're up for a project, you should look into Monstaliner. It is a two-part catalyzed product and is 100% UV stable. It was designed to be rolled on and had a nice texture due to the special roller. It is also tintable. I've both rolled it on (my Jeep restoration project) and sprayed it with a cheap Schutz gun from Amazon (~$9). I actually like the texture when sprayed a bit more, but both are nice. I think the kit for the bed was about $200?

Thank you sir! It was my first time both spraying and rolling on bedliner, so that just goes to show that you don't have to be some professional painter for it to turn out nicely.

You can buy it directly from the manufacturer at their website:

https://www.monstaliner.com/

I would not recommend it to others if I didn't truly think it was a great product.

I used this on my CJ7, inside and out, 12 years later looked as good as new when I sold it.

And your business played no roll in that outcome? How exactly were these truck beds used?

I'd have to assume that he would have mentioned if the trucks were used in markedly different ways. Most probably he is saying that, with similar use characteristics, that the Line-X and Bullet out performed the Rhino liners.

All the trucks get exactly same amount of abuse the rhino where the only ones with damage all the other ones look brand new And they are about 3 years older than the rhinto ones
